LONDON, ONT. -- Was he following the scent of the suspects or the scent of pizza? Either way Police Service Dog Carbon followed his nose and got the job done.

Around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, a pizza order was placed for a home on Hudson Drive.

Police say the delivery person was assaulted once in the driveway and three teen suspects fled on foot with the pizza. The victim suffered minor injuries.

PSD Carbon was brought in to help track down the suspects.

The K9 Unit followed his nose through fields, a forest and neighbourhoods all the way to a residence where the three suspects were found and taken into custody.

A 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys, all of London, were charged with robbery with violence or threats. They will appear in court on April 21.

Police say even the pizza was recovered.
