First Street closed for emergency rail repairs on Wednesday
On Wednesday, December 11, First Street will be closed between Dundas Street and Spanner Street (Source: City of London)
An emergency repair of the CPKC railway crossing on First Street will shut down a section of the road on Wednesday.
Starting on December 11, a detour will be in place from Dundas to Spanner Street, with some sidewalk closures and restrictions for pedestrians.
Access to properties will be maintained, however motorists will be asked to drive around the area until Friday, when the route is expected to reopen.
Transit riders are asked to refer to the LTC website for the most up to date route information.
