An overnight fire caused $80,000 in damage to a London home.

Emergency crews were called to 117 Riverside Drive around 1 a.m. Monday.

A tenant in the basement was woken up by her smoke detector.

London Fire reported heavy fire, smoke and heat damage to the main floor, with damage reaching the exterior of part of the building.

Luckily, no one was injured.

The basement tenant was the only occupant of the building at the time.

The cause is still under investigation.
