A 25-year-old Port Burwell woman came away from a serious car crash with minor injuries Monday afternoon and was released from hospital Monday night after being airlifted to hospital.
Elgin OPP say a Honda Civic went into a ditch on Vienna Line, near Sawmill Road in Malahide Township just after noon, hit an embankment and went airborne. It rolled several times before crashing onto the lawn of a nearby home.
The lone female had to be extricated from the car.
The roadway was closed for about three hours.
Police are still investigating.
