Fatal crash in Elgin County involving cyclist

One person has died after a crash between a passenger vehicle and a cyclist in Elgin County.

Around 4:55 a.m. on Thursday, emergency services were called to Talbot Line near Coyne Road in Dutton-Dunwich.

According to police, the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Talbot Line is closed between Coyne Road and Dunborough road while police investigate.
