Fatal collison involving a car and a transport truck

FATAL COLLISION INVOLVING VEHICLE AND TRACTOR TRAILER

Oxford County OPP responded to a collision early Wednesday morning on Highway 2, west of 31^st Line in Zorra Township.   

The collision involved a car and a tractor trailer.   

OPP say the male driver of the car is deceased as a result of the collision.

OPP members, Zorra Township Fire department, and Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) all responded to assist with the scene. 

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are attending the scene to continue with the investigation. 

The Zorra roads department has closed Highway 2 between the 29^{th Line} and 33rd Line and the 31^st Line is closed between Road 66 and Road 74. 

The roads will remain closed at these locations to continue with the investigation.
