A man and a woman are facing several charges after explosive devices, drugs, ammunition and replica handguns were found in Owen Sound.

On Saturday, emergency crews responded to a call of a man with no vital signs in the hotel room at 10th St. E. and 9th Ave. E.

Once inside, an explosive device was found and a female was arrested.

The OPP Explosive Device Unit was called in to remove the device, along with another one in the room.

The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

On Sunday, police executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of 11th St. E.

Police discovered another explosive device in the man’s home and the OPP Explosive Device Unit was called in to help.

On Monday, police uncovered explosive device ingredients and means of delivering such devices.

Officers also found fentanyl pills, marijuana and stolen property in the home.

A 31 year old man and a 25 year old female face numerous drug and weapons charges.

The investigation continues.
