Provincial police say they're investigating the alleged theft of an excavator worth roughly $200,000.
They say the machine went missing from a rural construction site in East Perth on Monday.
Police say they found it again after searching a property near Hamilton, but have not made any arrests in the case.
Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
