An 87-year-old London man is facing charges after an alleged cockfighting ring was busted over the weekend in eastern Ontario.
OPP were called to a property in North Stormont Township Saturday morning.
Once at the scene, police observed a cockfight underway.
Eleven men were arrested and several roosters were confiscated.
The London man is charged with numerous animal welfare offences.
The accused were released from custody and will appear in a Cornwall court June 21.
The investigation continues.
