A month-long investigation by the London Police Service’s Guns and Drugs Section, Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit and the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit has landed three people in custody on drug and weapon charges.

According to police, search warrants were executed at residences on Jalna Boulevard and on Sholto Drive Thursday.

At the Jalna location, officers say they discovered 230 Xanax pills.

As a result, police say 21-year-old Kenzie Sabourin of London is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, failing to comply with conditions of undertaking and failing to comply with probation order.

During the search on Sholto Drive, police say they seized 94 grams of cocaine and 28 Oxycodone pills with a total value of $9,550.

Officers also discovered a Springfield Armoury 9mm semi-automatic handgun with laser sight, a loaded Smith and Wesson .38 calibre revolver handgun and 56 rounds of ammunition.

Police says the semi-automatic handgun was stolen from a break and enter in Windsor on March 13, 2012.

As a result of the search on Sholto Drive, officers have charged 21-year-old Nestor Moran of Ilderton with 25 firearms and drug-related offences. Also charged is 58-year-old Anthony Stuifbergen of London, wwho faces 18 firearm and drug-related offences.
