Driver sought in overnight hit and run that left one injured

London police are searching for the driver of a black pickup that took off following a collision overnight.

The collision occurred around 1 a.m. in the intersection of Horton and Wharncliffe when the pickup and a sedan collided causing the traffic light to come down.

Police say the pickup then fled the scene.  

The driver of the sedan was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The pickup truck was located sometime later with extensive damage to front, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
