The case against Jason Cleveland, an ex-convict who is facing three charges in connection with a double murder over the weekend, has been put over until April 25th.

Cleveland was arrested on Sunday and is facing two counts of second-degree murder and one count of committing an indignity to a body.

The 38-year-old spent six years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in connection with the 2003 death of his business partner Rosario Mark Masotti.

The bodies of two men were found at a Fiddlers Green Road apartment building on Saturday afternoon. Both are believed to be known to Cleveland, but police say they don’t believe the men were known to each other.

One of the men was identified on Monday as 50-year-old Kevin David Walkey of London. Police say Walkey died as a result of blunt force trauma head injuries late last week.

On Tuesday evening, police identified the second man as 31-year-old Robert John Ratz.

Police say the London man’s death was also the result of blunt force head trauma, but that he died in late February.

The investigation into how the two deceased knew the suspect continues, and police are asking anyone who had contact with Cleveland over the last few months to contact them at 519-661-5674 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
