London police are warning pet owners in the east end after a small dog died following an attack by a larger dog on Wednesday.

The dog is described as being unaccompanied, medium to large in size, white in colour, (possibly a Labrador and American Bulldog mix).

It is said to have dark spots on its head and on the right side of the back of its body

Police say the small dog was euthanized as a result of its injuries.

The owner of the smaller dog also sustained some minor injuries during the altercation between the two animals.

Officers say the dog responsible for the injuries was last seen on Wednesday at 3: p.m. in the area of Railton Avenue and Saddy Avenue.
