The man who died Thursday morning in a crash west of Clinton has been identified.
Huron County OPP have identified the man as Travis Virag, 38, from Central Huron.
OPP say just before 1:30 a.m., officers received a call from a passerby that had found a heavily damaged vehicle on Bayfield Road (County Road 13) just west of Airport Line.
Officers immediately responded to the scene whereupon they located a Saturn Vue in the south ditch of Bayfield Road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the driver of the Saturn Vue was travelling westbound on Bayfield Road when he failed to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway.
Police say he lost control of his vehicle and was ejected from the vehicle when the vehicle rolled.
With the assistance of West Region Canine the driver was located in the south ditch of Bayfield Road.
The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
