South Bruce OPP are investigating a fail-to-remain crash that injured a cyclist on Thursday evening.

Police and EMS were called to Concession 12 in Huron Township shortly before 9 p.m. and found an injured cyclist in the ditch north of the road.

The cyclist was transported to hospital by ambulance and then airlifted to another hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved in the collision was not at the scene.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Unit are assisting with the investigation.

Concession 12 has been closed from Side Road 20 to Side Road 25 while police remain on scene.
