It was no laughing matter for one Woodstock resident, as a pair of "creepy clowns" chased down the citizen.
Police say the resident was chased by two people dressed as clowns in the area of the Springbank overpass near Springbank Avenue and Alice Street at 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Witnesses are being asked to call Woodstock police.
Police across the world are encouraging caution amid a rash of public complaints and social media reports of people dressed like clowns and acting suspiciously.
