Six people were injured following a crash involving a pick-up truck and minivan on Maplewood Sideroad at the 13th Concession in East Zorra-Tavistock Township on Friday.

Oxford OPP say the crash happened about 9 a.m. when the minivan failed to stop at a sign and was struck by the truck. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.

An 11-year-old female in the minivan was taken by air ambulance to hospital with serious injuries that aren’t considered life threatening.

One five-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries and an eight-year old female was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The female driver of the minivan also had non-life threatening injuries.

A woman driving the pick-up truck and a 10-month-old male passenger were treated for minor injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
