There's been more violence at the notorious Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre in London.
A union official and staff at the facility tell CTV News that a correctional officer was stabbed in the head during an incident Saturday.
At this point, it's unknown the severity of the injuries he or she suffered.
The infamous facility has a growing reputation for violence.
The prison is designed to hold 150 inmates, although it's believed 400 are currently being housed there.
