Two people are facing charges after a three-month child pornography investigation.
London police executed a search warrant at a Westminster Avenue residence on Wednesday.
Jillian Fischer, 22, was charged with the following offences;
- possession of child pornography,
- four counts of telecommunication with person believed to be under 18 for a criminal purpose
- make available sexually explicit material to a person under 18 for a criminal purpose
- two counts of possession of schedule 1 substance
- possession of schedule II substance not in excess
Police seized drugs, including 14 Oxycodone 5 mg worth $70, 1 Oxycodone 20 mg worth $5 and 2.1 grams of marijuana worth $20.
A search of the residence also revealed three prohibited weapons and a quantity of marijuana.
Jonathan Fischer, 20 was charged with the following offences;
- three counts of unlicenced person possess prohibited weapon
- possession of schedule II substance not in excess
Police say the prohibited weapons included brass knuckles, brass knuckle weighted gloves and a centrifugal force knife. Police seized 17.3 grams of marijuana worth $170.
The charges against Jillian Fischer mark the second time this year a woman in London has faced similar allegations. And until the two most recent cases no similar charges had been laid against women since 2008.
