A search by Chatham-Kent police of a vehicle seized from a suspended driver found cocaine, marijuana and cash.

Officers stopped a vehicle as part of a drug trafficking investigation on Nov. 5 and charged the man with driving while under suspension and released.

The vehicle was towed, and police obtained a search warrant for the vehicle the next day.

During that search, police recovered over $14,300 worth of cocaine, over $14,200 in marijuana and Canadian cash.

On Friday, Patrick Jerome Robert, 31, of Chatham, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing Monday.
