A 38-year-old man is facing charges after London police and the RCMP searched an Arva residence in connection with an eight-month drug investigation.

Police say an investigation into a “high-level cocaine trafficker operating in the city of London” lead to the search of a John’s Drive home on Wednesday.

As a result, Solomon Woldegabriel is facing two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000.

During the investigation prior to the search in Arva, police had seized:

  • six ounces of cocaine worth $10,000 from a home on Sarnia Road, London
  • one kilogram of cocaine worth $100,000 from a home on Capulet Lane, London
  • various pieces of high-end jewelry
  • a 2005 Maserati sedan worth $45,000
