Oxford County OPP say a man is facing numerous charges after an explosion and fire at a trailer early Saturday morning.
Two men and a woman were in the home at Sun Park Hidden Valley on Highway 59 in East Zorra-Tavistock when the fire occurred, but there were no injuries.
Over the weekend, OPP executed a search warrant at the home and siezed marijuana, hashish and prescription pills valued at about $1,800.
As a result of the investigation, 40-year-old Andrew Miles of East Zorra-Tavistock Township has been charged with:
- two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance – other drugs
- possession of a Schedule II substance – cannabis marijuana – over 30 grams
- produce a Schedule II substance other than marijuana
- possession of cannabis resin – over one gram
- mischief endangering life
- six counts of fail to comply with recognizance
He is being held in custody.
The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office is continuing with the fire investigation.
