A Clifford woman has been charged after bank record discrepancies were found by a Palmerston cadet group.

Wellington County OPP say 30-year-old Elizabeth Fearnley has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of fraud over $5,000.

Police began investigating after receiving a complaint from the 1943 Norwell Army Cadet Corp of Palmerston about bank record discrepancies.

Following a lengthy investigation, Fearnley, who was involved with the non-profit organization, was charged.

She is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court in March.
