Norfolk OPP have laid a careless driving charge against a man following a three-vehicle fatal crash in Simcoe in February.
OPP say a vehicle travelling east on Queensway West on February 2 was waiting to turn into a business when it was struck from behind by a black pickup truck.
The vehicle entered the west lane on Queensway West and was struck by a blue pickup truck.
The driver of the vehicle, 65-year-old Richard Wood of Norfolk County, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the blue pick-up truck, a 28-year-old man from Norfolk, along with a 25 year-old female, and a two-year-old and three-year-old, were transported to hospital for precautionary measures.
On Tuesday, 22-year-old Paul David William Dyment, of Norwich Township, was charged with careless driving.
