The online classified sales site Kijiji helped the Oxford OPP crack a case of break, enter and thefts in South-West Oxford Township.

Between Feb. 26 and March 2, six residences on Foldens Line and Culloden Road were hit. Several sheds, garages and a vehicle were entered. The items stolen taken included a Yamaha generator, tire rims and power tools, valued at about $5,500.

OPP say their investigation led them to Kijiji, where some of the items were placed. Police say that linked them to the suspect.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with five counts of break, enter and theft, two counts of break, enter and theft with intent to commit indictable offence and three counts of failing to comply to a probation order.
