Carlyle Fiset is a multi-skilled journalist and the 11 p.m. anchor with CTV News London.

Carlyle grew up in small-town northern Ontario before studying journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa. His passion for sports lead him to continue his education at the College of Sports Media in Toronto.

He broke into the industry with TSN, writing for SportsCentre and That’s Hockey. He could also be heard on TSN 1050 Toronto airwaves.

Carlyle switched away from sports when he moved to Thunder Bay, becoming a reporter and weekend anchor with TBT News. He then joined Global News in Saskatchewan, anchoring the evening news in Regina and Saskatoon.

Before moving to London, Carlyle was an anchor and reporter with CTV Edmonton.

Beyond his sports interests, Carlyle is a voracious TV watcher. Check out his annual “Best Of” lists if you’re looking for a good binge-watch.

An English-speaking generalist, Carlyle anchors CTV London’s weekend newscasts.

Carlyle speaks English.
