A man is in hospital after his car was struck by a freight train Saturday morning in London.

The latest incident has again risen safety concerns about rail crossings in the city.

There's damage from bumper to bumper along the driver side of the Honda, but what about those inside.
"There was a lone male driver that was take to hospital where he's listed in fair condition," says Const. Amy Phillipo.

The collision happened around 10a.m. The vehicle heading south on St. George Street was struck by a train westbound on the CP Rail tracks.
