London Mayor Matt Brown and Coun.Maureen Cassidy each violated three sections of council's Code of Conduct.

Those are the findings of an Integrity Commissioner investigation made public late Tuesday afternoon.

Coun. Phil Squire told News Talk 1290 CJBK Tuesday that councillors received a copy of the report in the morning.

According to Squire, the report determined that Mayor Brown and Coun. Cassidy made the violations during their admitted affair that was made public by the pair on June 14.

Integrity Commissioner Greg Stewart has no ability to punish, his report would give council the ability to vote whether to punish them.

That would take place on Thursday.

Punishment could include a 90 day suspension from their duties.

The findings also give new ammunition to those calling for one or both to resign.

Both Brown and Cassidy have chosen to take a leave of abscence to be with their families.
