Police say a 22-year-old man has been stabbed and his 20-year-old brother is facing an attempted murder charge after an incident in Stratford.

The altercation occurred at an apartment building at 333 Home Street at around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

A short time later, John Pushelberg was arrested nearby. He is facing a charge of attempted murder.

Following a court appearance on Wednesday, he was remanded in custody. He is due back in court Monday for a bail hearing.

Keith Pushelberg, 22, remains in critical condition in a London hospital.

The investigation is ongoing. Stratford police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have any information regarding this case to contact Sgt. Rob Byatt at 271-4147 Ext. 116.
