Middlesex OPP are investigating after thousands of dollars worth of personal items were taken in break and enters at two residences in Parkhill on Sunday.

Investigators responded to the first reported break in just before 10 a.m. in the 100 block of Emily Street.

Police learned that sometime overnight a hidden key was found by suspect(s) and used to enter to the home.

Once inside numerous items were taken - with an estimated value of just over $2,400.

Around 3:45 p.m. the OPP were called to a second break and enter complaint in the 1300 block of Parkhill Drive.

Investigators say it appears sometime between 12:30 and 3:45 p.m. suspect(s) gained entry to the home through a side door. Once inside a number of items were taken including: two laptops, a television and some personal jewelry.

The Middlesex OPP Property Crime Unit is currently assisting with the investigation, which is ongoing.
