The body of a teen who went missing while swimming off the shores of Kincardine on Sunday afternoon has been found.

Members of the South Bruce OPP Marine Unit along with the Emergency Response Team resumed the search for the teen - who was presumed drowned - on Tuesday morning.

The 16-year-old male has been identified by police as Lucas Johnson of Goderich.

Johnson was last seen near the south pier in Kincardine Harbour Sunday afternoon.

Search efforts were hampered by bad weather Sunday as South Bruce OPP searched for the missing swimmer.

OPP received the report of a missing teen in Lake Huron off the shores of Kincardine around 3 p.m. Sunday.

The OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit were also assisting with the search.

This is the fourth drowning along the shores of Kincardine since 2008.
