A warrant has been issued for the arrest of three St. Thomas residents, following a home invasion.

Police say six people forced their way into an apartment last Wednesday in the north end of St. Thomas, looking for a man involved in an earlier altercation.

The man heard them enter and escaped through a window, but fell four storeys. He suffered a broken ankle and a fracture to his lower back and was taken to hospital.

An apartment neighbour came to offer assistance and police say he was assaulted, resulting in a broken nose and orbital bone.

Nicole Clark, 28, and 34-year-old Craig Scratch were arrested and charged with break and enter commit assault, break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault causing bodily harm.

Police are looking for 29-year-old James Slaughter, 35-year-old Chris Doxtator and a 17-year-old female, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. A fourth man involved has not been identified.

Police say Slaughter was also involved in an altercation at a home the next night and is facing two charges of assault with a weapon.

In that case, two males knocked on the door of an Edward Street address, one then entered and went to a back bedroom where he began threatening a 29-year-old male with a small knife.

There was a physical altercation during which the suspect dropped the knife, but then reportedly picked up a hammer and began swinging it, hitting the floor.

Police say the accused was subdued and pushed out the front door where he and the other unidentified male fled on bicycles.

The second suspect is described as male, 17-19 years old with a thin build, blonde hair and a neck tattoo with writing on it. He was wearing a white hooded sweater.
