Arrest made in case of baby found in dumpster

London Police are confirming that an arrest has been made in the case of an infant found in a garbage dumpster earlier this week.

The major crime unit is investigating and made the arrest this morning, Saturday, June 18th. Police say more details will be released later in the day as they become available from investigators.

On Thursday, June 16th, police were called to the area behind 675 Richmond St. in downtown London around 11:35 a.m., where a citizen discovered a baby in a dumpster. Police say the child appeared to be a newborn, but have not released the gender.
