Lambton OPP have charged a 19-year-old male with multiple counts in connection with alleged assaults on a 16-year-old female.
On Sunday, while officers were investigating a separate matter, they arrested the male for what they are calling domestic-related assaults.
He has been charged with three counts of assault, two counts of sexual assault and one count of criminal harassment.
He was being held pending a bail hearing in Sarnia on Wednesday.
Officials say no further information is being released as the matter is before the courts.
