LONDON, ONT. -- A warm and sunny start to the week, with temperatures a few degrees above normal Monday afternoon.

A weak cold front will push from north to south tonight, resulting in increasing cloud.

There is a 60% chance of showers after 8pm and there is the slight chance of a thunderstorm overnight with the passage of the cold front.

Skies will clear before sunrise Tuesday and another beautiful day is in store for southern Ontario.

A large surface high from the northern Great Lakes will expand south,  this will generate calm condtions and sunshine.

An omega blocking pattern will develop over the next couple of days and this will keep us in a sunny, stable weather pattern.

You can expect gorgeous fall weather this week with warm days and cool nights.
