Business owners in Woodstock are being warned about reports of counterfeit US$50 bills being used.
The Woodstock Police Service says that over the past few days, they have received complaints from several businesses received suspected counterfeit bills.
Officials are asking any businesses that suspect counterfeit dollars are being passed, especially those that are US currency, to contact the police immediately at 519-537-2323.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or any other crime is asked to contact the Woodstock Police Service or Crime Stoppers at 519-421-TIPS.
