A closure of Highway 401 this weekend will cause some delays for overnight travellers.
Highway 401 will be closed in both directions overnight on Saturday for demolition of the Westminster Drive bridge.
The highway will be closed from Colonel Talbot Road to Wellington Road between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.
A signed detour route will be in place and drivers should expect delays during this period.
On Sunday morning, concrete barriers will also be installed to reduce Highway 401 to one lane in each direction for work on the median.
Those lane reductions will be in place until late August.
