The U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor is billed as the most advanced fighter jet in the world and it will be coming to London as part of the London air show in September.

The Raptor demonstration team has included London as one of only two Canadian stops on its international scheduled this year.

A news release says that visits by the team are rare due to the cost, availability and high security requirements for the aircraft.

An air show returns to London for the first time in 12 years.

The show is schedule for Sept. 17-18 and it will also feature the CF-18 Demonstration Team, which includes London pilot Capt. Ryan Kean.

About 25,000 people are expected to attend.
