The Middlesex OPP is investigating after a fatal three-vehicle crash that claimed the lives of two people.
Officers were called to Longwoods Road between Old Airport Road and Pratt Siding Road south of Glencoe, shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday for a multi-vehicle collision.
Police say the investigation is continuing, but it appears that an eastbound SUV was attempting to pass a school bus when it struck a westbound Dodge Ram pickup truck head on.
A westbound transport truck then reportedly hit both vehicles.
The man driving the pickup died at the scene. He has been identified as 50-year-old Donald Sealey of Wardsville, Ont.
The male driving the SUV, 17-year-old Jacob Suitor of Chatham, died after being transported to hospital.
The driver of the transport truck was treated by EMS at the scene.
Longwoods was closed for several hours for the police investigation, but re-opened shortly before 1 p.m.
