Stratford police say two teens have been arrested in connection with a robbery in May that saw a woman struck in the face and her purse stolen.

According to investigators, the assault and robbery happened shortly after 10:30 p.m., May 2 on Huron Street in the city's west end as the woman was walking home.

A 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male have now been arrested and have each been charged with one count of robbery with violence.

They are expected to appear in court in September.
