London Police say a transport truck blitz this week revealed some serious infractions.
Police conducted an enforcement blitz on Wednesday.
All five trucks that were inspected were taken off the road for safety issues.
Fifteen violations were discovered, ranging from administrative omissions to major mechanical defects.
London police say mandatory pre-trip inspections would have identified the problems.
