A transport truck driver is charged, after rolling his rig on Highway 401 over the weekend.

Middlesex County OPP responded to a rollover in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Dorchester Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre Sunday around 11 a.m.

Through their investigation police say the tractor trailer was travelling to close to other vehicles that were decelerating. To avoid a collision, police say the driver braked, skidded and rolled into the westbound lanes.

The driver was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result, 55-year-old Oscar Flores of Hamilton, Ont. is charged with follow too closely.
