The Tragically Hip will be playing Budweiser Gardens in London Monday night as their latest stop on their farewell tour.

Demand for the Man Machine Poem Tour has been intense, with tickets going fast, and secondary sale prices soaring.

On June 13, the band redesigned its London show in order to accommodate more seats. There will no longer be an opening act, with the concert set to start at 8:30 p.m.

The beloved Canadian announced earlier this year their 52-year-old front man Gord Downie has a terminal form of brain cancer and that this tour would be his last.

Local artist Andy Gillet will be painting a piece dedicated to the band and Downie outside Covent Garden Market before tonight’s show.

The final show will be broadcast live in Victoria Park on August 20th.

Beginning at 4 p.m., evening programming will include regional emerging artists performing Tragically Hip songs leading up to CBC’s stream of the final show of the Man Machine Poem tour, live from Kingston.
