A special weather statement has been issued for London-Middlesex, Sarnia-Lambton and Elgin County.
Environment Canada says thunderstorms producing heavy rains have formed over Southeastern Michigan and will continue to track southeast for the next several hours.
These storms are capable of producing heavy downpours with approximately 20 mm to 40 mm of rain locally.
