Police have identified the woman who drowned on a farm south of St. Marys.
The body of 49-year-old Peggy Heard of Thames Centre was found on a property on Heritage Road just south of Highway 7 around 4:30 p.m., Friday.
Heard's body had been pulled from the Thames River. Emergency crews were unable to revive revive her.
Police say they do not suspect any foul play in Heard's death.
