A man wanted in connection with an arson at the Iron Grill Restaurant in Woodstock in 2009 was arrested earlier this month at Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
He was returning to Canada from Sri Lanka.
Woodstock police say Jeyakumar Shanmuganathan was arrested for failing to attend court to face conspiracy to commit arson in 2011.
There was also a warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with a recognizance of bail.
He was supposed to report to toronto police in 2011, but did not.
The fire at the Iron Grill claimed the life of one man and caused life-changing burns to another.
Shanmuganathan is being held at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre.
He will make a court appearance Wednesday in Woodstock.
