Chatham-Kent OPP are investigating following a high-speed chase on the 401.
Around 2 p.m. on Monday, an officer had stopped a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Orford Road for a traffic violation.
That's when the suspect sped away, while ramming into a police vehicle and drove through the median two times, between the east and westbound lanes.
The fleeing vehicle was eventually stopped while travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes near Blacks Road in Elgin County.
The suspect was arrested. Wesley Santos, 20, of Cambridge is facing several charges.
Nobody was injured.
