SAINT JOSEPH, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say a Windsor, Ont., woman claimed a desire to watch the sunset was behind her driving at nearly double the speed limit.

Police say a car was clocked at 150 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone earlier this week on the Bluewater Veteran's Highway near Saint Joseph.

The woman was stopped at 8:20 in the evening and police say she indicated she was speeding in an attempt to make it to the cottage prior to sunset.

A 25-year-old woman has been charged under Ontario's racing legislation.

Her licence has been suspended for seven days and her car will be impounded for the week.

She is due in court in Goderich on Sept. 1 to answer to the charge.
