A 64-year-old Perth County school bus driver is facing sexual assault charges for allegedly inappropriately touching female students.

The Perth County OPP crime unit has just concluded an investigation into the reports.

The investigation revealed the alleged incidents occurred sometime in April and May, while the man was engaged in his duties as a bus driver for a local school bus company.

The driver was immediately suspended by the school bus company when this information became known, police say.

Donald Weir, 64, of Stratford has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation and two counts of sexual assault.

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on July 22.
