A search warrant involving the OPP’s drug enforcement unit, Grey OPP and a canine unit turned up narcotics and stolen property at a Meaford home.

Police identified stolen property consisting of a 35-foot 5th wheel camping trailer, (stolen from Barrie in December 2015), as well as a Honda motorcycle and a space heater, all worth a total of $72,520.    

They seized cell phones, digital scales, packaging materials, a debt list, and cash.

Police also seized cannabis marijuana, methamphetamine and psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking, with a value of $1,720.00

A 30-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamine for purposes of trafficking
  • Possession of psilocybin for the purposes of trafficking
  • Possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking
  • Production of cannabis marijuana
  • Possession of cannabis resin
  • Possession of ammunition while prohibited
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
